What Changed in Palworld 1.0 Breeding
Palworld 1.0 shipped a number of changes to breeding that make pre-1.0 calculators unreliable. This article summarizes what changed and how to adapt your plans.
Updated breeding power values
Many Pals received new breeding power (combiRank) values. Because the child of two parents is determined by averaging their power and matching the nearest species, changes to these values shift a large number of results. If a combination that used to work no longer produces the expected child, the power values are the most likely cause.
Adjusted special combinations
Some special parent pairs that override the power-average system were added, changed, or removed. Use the combinations browser to look up current special pairs, or check a specific Pal's page.
How to adapt your breeding plans
- Always use a 1.0-updated calculator like this one.
- Re-check your favorite recipes — some children changed.
- Use the path finder to recompute shortest routes with the new values.
Data transparency
Our data is extracted directly from the 1.0 game files. It is datamined and partially cross-checked — see our data source page for full details and known limitations.
